OLD-FASHIONED ICE CREAM SOCIAL - August 8
There's nothing like homemade ice cream on a hot day! Come get a few scoops of some terrific flavors, then sit and relax and enjoy some good conversation to go along with them. We might even break out some gospel music for a taste of yesteryear! More details TBA.
180 DEGREES MINISTRIES' GETTING YOUR LIFE ON-TARGET- August 31 to November 23
Ever tried to change a bad habit? What about a destructive behavior that threatens everything in your life? We're partnering with 180 Degrees Ministries to teach people about the love of God through Christ and how to come into a relationship with Him. The power and love of Christ is able to overcome sin and reverse the patterns of negative self-concepts that lead to self-destructive actions.

BAPTISMAL SERVICES - September, December
New Heights Chapel encourages all followers of Christ to be baptized, following the instruction and example of Jesus. Our next baptismal service dates for 2010 are September 12 and December 12. If you would like to participate or have questions, please call the office at 890.2004 or email us.
DISCOVERY LUNCH AND CLASS - September 12 and 19
The next orientation for newcomers is in two parts: a lunch on September 12 after services and a class on September 19 from 5-7pm (childcare provided). At the lunch, you'll receive materials to review on your own; the evening class is for Q&A and highlighting our vision for New Heights. Please call 890.2004 if you'd like to attend this Discovery session. The last Discovery dates for 2010 are November 7 and 14.
WORSHIP IN THE 'BORO - September 17
This evening of musical worship, prayer and testimonies features Allen Morrell and other area musicians. Allen's music is a vital part of 180 Degrees Ministries' programs - songs of deliverance, healing, growth, change and celebration. Come hear songs from his new CD, Just To Know You, and worship God with us. For more information, email Allen Morrell.
