Welcome to Awana at New Heights Chapel! We are on summer break until September 11.
Awana teaches children the power of memorizing God's Word, fun competition in our Awana games, great life lessons from the Bible, and many catchy songs as well. Awana meets from 5-7pm each Sunday night and we follow the Rutherford County School severe weather schedule (if RCS is out on Monday, Awana doesn't meet the night before).
Our Awana nursery provides care for very young children, up to age 2.
2- and 3-year-olds are part of the Puggles program, which teaches toddlers simple lessons about God through activities, music and more. Parents can reinforce the lessons with take-home cards suggesting ways to point out God’s work each day.
Cubbies is for preschoolers, which means lots of activity! We play games, play with puppets, enjoy snacks, make crafts - all this provides a lively experience where Cubbies learn they are loved by God and special to Him.
Our Sparks club helps children in K-2nd understand the Gospel as well as the people and events of the Bible. This builds a foundation of wisdom for knowing Jesus and entering into a relationship with Him.
T&T kids (Truth and Training, grades 3-6) have lots of questions and ideas, and their club is designed to give them Biblical answers about God and the Bible, guiding them to grow in His grace.
Both Sparks and T&T are divided into three segments: high-energy, team-oriented fun in Game Time; music and Bible message in Council Time; and reinforcing Bible verses in Handbook Time.
Exciting theme nights, Grand Prix, Bible Quiz, the Awana Store and other exciting activities spice up meetings throughout the year.
Each Sunday evening begins with a flag ceremony and singing at 5:00pm (with occasional exceptions for holidays, school breaks, etc.) and ends at 7:00pm. Registration remains open all year - it doesn't matter when kids start.

See you on September 11 at 5pm!
